microplastic free clothing
our clothing is made from 100% organic pima cotton and 100% silk. our threads, notions, and buttons are also plastic free. 60% of all clothing is now made of plastic. the microplastic problem is a plastic clothing problem. Synthetic textiles are the single greatest contributors to engineered microplastics in the ocean.

naturally dyed with botanicals
many synthetic textile dyes used today, like azo dyes are carcinogenic. the rivers of high garment export countries are becoming unable to sustain life of any kind. toxic to drink, an irritant when in contact with skin, and deadly to aquatic life, many of the rivers upon which communities rely are causing decreased life expectancies and increased health problems.
our clothing dyes are made from beetroot, chlorophyll, and blueberries. natural dyes are biodegradable and non toxic, making them better choice for our planet and your body.
natural fibers
convrt uses natural fibers exclusively to produce its collections.
silk is a smooth, durable and luxurious natural fiber. It is biodegradable, uses less water, chemicals, and energy than most fibers.
peru is home to the luxurious pima cotton. pima cotton is considered the finest quality cotton on earth. its long fibres make it extra soft and strong. resulting in a quality fabric that's resistant to pilling, fraying, tearing and wrinkling.
